Bulrush Peat Company was established in Northern Ireland in 1979 to supply the needs of nurserymen, substrate manufacturers and gardeners for sphagnum peat products in the United Kingdom.

We are part of one of the largest private compost producers in Western Europe. Sphagnum moss peat is extracted and processed from several thousand hectares of bog land in Ireland, Denmark, Estonia and Latvia. The Group owns six factories which have a combined annual output capacity in excess of 900,000 cubic metres.

We supply a wide range of composts and peat based products through our nationwide network of distributors.
